8. What is your process for inspection during construction?
9. What type of warranty do you offer? and finally
10. How and when would my final price be determined?

Compare the answers from different builders to help balance the emotional decision with practical, rational facts. If something is particularly important ask to get it in writing. And use the advice from your agent or new-home cobroker.
